The day started off with a makeup application for a photo shoot but turned into so much more! Marissa, the featured executive chef for the shoot is naturally stunning. Getting to do her makeup was a treat because in August this beauty is getting married! So this was a fantastic time to get her beautified for the shoot but also talk details about her upcoming wedding and the look she would like for her big day.
With spring inspiration in mind, I used, Bobbi Browns Shimmer Brick in Rose Quartz and a beautiful Sephora lip color called Rose Dawn. A dust of Trish McEvoy's Peach Shimmer on her lids and lots of Loreal Voluminous black mascara finished the look. Sometimes a little less makeup packs more of a punch!
Well, once we were wrapped with make-up, I had to stick around for touch ups and to see the action happen with the photographer!! I am so glad I did!! I just can’t resist myself, once things start rolling I saw some opportunities for the pictures and just had to get my hands dirty and do some food styling! I dressed the PIG with local, seasonal vegetables and herbs for its big reveal in the kitchen while Marissa created a fabulous pork dish made from parts of the PIG. You just never know what the job will call for, so glad I got to seize the moment and DRESS the PIG!!! Doesn't this chef just look so PRETTY with her PORK!
